I am way confused. Do we play licks or lics?
I looced it up in a dictionary, but I'm not sure.
now thats funny
I've never understood why Americans (in particular) struggle so much with pronouncing place names like Worcestershire & Leicester. Any country that can understand the concept of silent letters in names like Connecticut shouldn't have any difficulties with those two.
What's worse...mispronouncing a few city names, or driving on the wrong side of the road? Hmm...
I quite agree - that's a ridiculous thing to do. But we forgive you for that, it's not your fault.
I am noticing more round-a-bouts being put in around my area.
Im usually a thread killer, so I'll kill this one

You think Worcestershire & Leicester are mispronounced? Illinois is renowned for mispronouncing names of towns:
Bourbonnais= Brabonis (news stations have recently begun pronouncing this one properly)
So... how exactly does one play the instrument to generate wear marks like that?
"Vas it boorned ba aceed o' somssing?"
When I got my UK licence it said "tear along dotted line"
I've been driving in the middle of the road at high speed ever since
