What's the giveaway on the saddles?

Could be legit but def. a refin. People in Portola Valley got money to burn...horse people.

They should be brass, and smaller.

There’s so much wrong with that one. A scam for sure.

That neck misalignment is referred to as a neck pocket shelf. It’s common on most early esquire, broadcasters and teles. They were hand made so not real perfect. The custom shop is actually recreating this into there blackguard reissues.

Charming, in this case, was a sincere compliment not a derogatory statement.

Ok, glad that was cleared up. A neck misalignment would be charming :)

It is in this case as it is a true relic. That guitar is very cool looking overall. Not $75,000 cool but cool.

So is that 75K$ insanely stupid ? I really don't know what this would normally go for..

But considering that less than 250 broadcasters were ever made, I wouldn't be surprise that a real one would fetch a pretty penny !

I may be an @s$, but after looking at this dude's profile picture...the only thing I'd feel comfortable buying from him is grass....

    $10,000? Who’s to say it’s legit. I’d be cautious..

Well $75k seem outrageous but it’s sold so someone bought it. Very limited numbers on actual broadcasters and nothing at the moment that’s actually for sale. Well except this gem in question for $10k.

I thought they looked like brass, but they did look a bit larger. Good eye.

If you right click and choose "Open in New Window" you can see more detail. I can't wait to hear what you guys have to say. I thought he wasn't going to respond but he did.

This has got to be a joke. Why are the tuners in the first pic different then the closeup pic. Now it has brass saddles?Something is up with this one.

Look at the top amber colour and then look at that nice blonde finish of the jack socket, huh? Modern switch, yeah maybe there’s some real fender parts on there but I doubt it’s a real broadcaster.

Get a pic off under the pickguard. There should be no neck pickup wiring cheat route if it’s a real broadcaster. This guy is pulling your leg.

Yeah a few are the same pics. If I was considering buying it is a short drive to go look.
