Found a sweet 1956 00-17 Martin at a local shop today. Trying to swing it but convincing the wife is tough. Beautiful all mahogany wood and only thing non original is the tuners. I'm gonna swing by in the next day or so and will take some pics. Plays awesome and looks good for a 61 year old guitar. Anybody play or have one of these?

Beautiful guitar, my first guitar was a 1960's Washburn replica of one of these that my dad gave me...

Still trying to convince the wife to let me buy it. Kind of tough though to drop $2,200 after buying two new sets of skis this season and a Martin dread last July hopefully I can butter her up enough for one more purchase.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be buying this one. Ordered a Sienna Burst Am Pro today so I'll have to pass on another Martin for now. Maybe sometime this summer I'll get one as I really want another small body acoustic to replace the Taylor I sold last November.

If you need a stopgap little hog, the Sigma 000 15S is a killer deal. Sounds and plays well above it's price point.

Sweet. I dig the OM size, but I'm too much of a sissy for that extra 1/16" of width at the nut.

  13. Does anyone have a hanky or napkin, I think I just drooled a little... maybe a lot!
