    Hi Guys!

Picked this guitar up a couple of days ago and just wondered if anyone knew its value or a bit more info on it. The serial number says its 91/92. The research I have done, doesn't show up any 'blonde' finishes for these years?

    Any info would be fantastic!

    Cheers!

    Welcome to the forum!

You have what looks like a 1992-ish era neck with a different body, possibly Squier @bodsterbug

BUT, if you look closer you can see the 12th fret dots aren't right (too wide), and the neck has only 21 frets....

The bridge is also a cheap type found on low end Squier guitars like the Bullet, this was probably built from the ground up as a fake and sold on chinese type ebay sites....

It's counterfeit, not worth more than $100 ish....or 80-100 quid at most in the UK...actually illegal to re-sell...

Can't see a clear shot of the truss rod access / adjustment hole at headstock end either, but it's probably just open bare wood or plastic insert, not a walnut plug like on USA models...

The font of STRATOCASTER and lack of trademark R after it is a red flag...so is the font of the serial number not being quite right...

That sucks. But how can u be sure Simone didn't put a bullet term on it? Is it full body thickness? I would keep exploring what it is. Or maybe find a fender body to mate it to n sell it as a partscaster. Take it apart, take more pics, n report back her

It's obviously a fake neck with an an obvious import body. If you've looked at enough strats and know what to look for its apparent. Even from these poor pics you can tell

    Someone* my bad.
So were saying the neck is fake? With possibly a squier body? Cuz that's different if the neck is fake.sucks for this guy hope ya didn't pay fender price for it. Maybe it plays well if it were me I'd make it play well cuz down the road you could enjoy it for what it is. Which would be cool to have a fake axe that you love. Cuz selling it would be illegal but heys its your guitar. I say mod it.
    Sorry u got the shaft
