Heading out to hop the pond for vacation and having a whole new flying experience. Never flown first class before and am loving the experience so far...and we haven't even started taxiing yet. Room to sleep and fresh dinner as well as up to date movies. Individual pods with recliners that lay into beds. The only thing I would like to change would be to have a double bod to share with Mrs. Believer. Sure hope she does well with the flying seperate from me as she is an anxious flier.

First Class can be fun, although you may get stuck eating lots of food on a long flight. Well, they often have leftovers available. :)

You landed! Hope it was a smooth ride. How is Mrs. B? Did she relax on the flight?

She did! Thanks for asking. It was the best flight experience either of us has ever had. Our first day was a great time. She was even watching the take off and landing through the window by her own choice. Those are her most unfavorite parts. Once at altitude she is pretty good but this time she was a lot more relaxed for sure.
I'm also happy to report that my knee and I held up to an almost 6 hour walking tour of London...even after hitting the ground running without any chance to sleep other than a nap for each of us during the flight.

...not to mention free drinks of all sorts. If Delta, they serve Woodford Reserve, and they usually give me two mini-bottles at the start and more if I want as the flight goes on. Then wine with dinner..... Enjoy it...you pay for it.

Awesome!! Looks like a great trip!

I've traveled first class once and it was an amazing experience! My wife is an anxious flier and flying first class made it much easier for her.

That is the exact reason we chose 1st class on the planes this time. My wife is a very anxious flier. Noatter how nice ot is the turbulence is still the same though. We hit about an hour of it at the beginning of the flight back from paris to Chicago which was pretty rough but I think the champagne helped a bit.

If you're talking about the visitors center then yes. Nice facility too.

On the flight home we learned that when flying 1st class if you pick both inside seats then the partition in the middle will lower and you can hang out be there with your partner. That made for a nicer flight than the first one that was already great.
