Pics coming. I have never uploaded a video here or audio take.. Is that possible? How?Pics and/or a demo of the problem could help. When it seems elusive something is usually overlooked.

Ok, sorry. Go to photos, tap the picture you want, hit share, then create link. It will create a link that you can copy and paste here for us to use. Just make sure it isn't a Rick rollI have set it up 4 times now.
.010 relief at the 8th fret
4/64 string height at the 17th fret
nut height is fine
grub screws are not loose
no rattle on pup springs or other hardware
no high frets
notes are choking
trying to post audio but I do not have youtube or any other account to link to.

In some of the pics it looks like the frets are lifting. take a piece of paper, on both sides of each fret, and see if it goes under the fret.
I’ll check that nowIn some of the pics it looks like the frets are lifting. take a piece of paper, on both sides of each fret, and see if it goes under the fret.
Have you checked the level of the frets on both sides of each strings path from first to last fret?
also.. the buzz happens even with my other neck attached.. a good neck.. so I’m stumped.. since it’s happening with another neck and another bridge assembly.. doesn’t that mean that there is something else going on?In some of the pics it looks like the frets are lifting. take a piece of paper, on both sides of each fret, and see if it goes under the fret.

Same here. The videos make it seem like the saddles are too low but the nut is cut way too high to compensate.
But if the same happens with a whole different neck then... I'm stumped.

Maybe this link will work.. vid
I think your right. The nut is a little high.. the frets are the small vintage frets and they have been leveled and crowned.. There were a few big dents on a couple and the leveling took off a lot of materiel. Should have just replaced those. Guess its going to need a re fret. I have the stuff to do it but have never done it before.I expected way worse, to be honest.
In the pictures the frets look very low and the nut way high. If this is true, it forces you to use more strength to fret the notes amongst other things (how is the intonation on the first few frets?).
Almost any setup will have some buzz if you pluck hard enough. It's essential to listen closely and find where it's coming from.
