"Fender Stratocaster 60th Anniversary Edition MIM strat with soft case - $400

Fender MIM strat in really good condition, sort of a wine red/maroon color. This is a 60th Anniversary edition from Fender, with the small medallion on the back of the headstock.

Things that keep it from being perfect condition: some sticker gunk on the back (see pic), a replacement tuning peg on the high E string (works great, just looks different- see pic). Overall I think it looks great- body is in good shape, neck is in good shape, headstock is in good shape!"

Went and looked yesterday. High action, needs radius and truss rod adjust, small nicks and dings here and there, a little rash rub on neck base.

    What would you guys offer?

If not allowed let me know, move if needed. Thanks

I don't know where you live...but here in AZ.....probably between $300 and $350 with those issues....

BTW....it is not a 60th Annv strat.....just an MIM Standard built in the 60th annv year....good luck....

Yup, 350 tops and as crawdaddy said, that medallion was on every Fender guitar that year...the actual 60th Anniversary was a blizzard pearl/maple fingerboard model.

If i really wanted it i’d pay the asking price.
    If I didn’t i’d offer just over 50%.

    $400 is a fair price.

I think 2006 was the year MIM standard strats changed to the med. jumbo frets if that matters to you. I bought a 2006 with that 60yr sticker and it's a good guitar. Considering current prices I would grab it at 400. I always swap out those ceramic pickups though.

If you really like that Strat you might want to go over 400. A lot of members here wouldn't for one reason or another. There were some upgrades in '06 so check Bill Alston's site and fuzzfaced. Prices are up on Ebay and Reverb for the MIM Strats. You might want to wait awhile and see if you can get a better deal but even for 4 bills I think you could get that back if you wanted to sell.

Considering issues, I'd like to be at $300 on it and would pass over $325.

It's nothing special as others have noted. Every guitar had that medallion that year.

Around my neck of the woods that would go for right around $400, so IMO it's priced about right. If you want you can try to talk him down to $350, but I wouldn't cancel the deal.
