Ahh, okay. A young guy that I worked with (when I was still working) gave me that sticker because "The GOAT" became my nickname there... totally unjustifiably I might add. He did mention that it came with something he bought, and I actually found the website recently, but never reserved any brain cells to recall the name.
Nice work! Thanks for posting those.
Here's another partial clip of an instrumental that you won't hear too often at a blues fest. Also, I have seen many posts about guys that feel like they're stuck in that minor pentatonic mode, and here's an example of how just 1 or 2 seconds worth of "outside" riffs can add a little interest.
This is also an example of how a soundman can totally affect a performance by almost completely removing my analog synth from my melody lines the second time through.
Yeah! Great band! Thanks for sharing that! Really dug it....especially ‘Don’t let me be Misunderstood’, I really liked how you all handled that. Bravo!
That sounds really good.
good band, nice job.
Wow! really nice!!
Reminds me of Hollywood Fats!
Had to search for HF and take a listen. Great stuff! Man, if we're getting that sound then that's quite the compliment! Thanks!
Really exceptional way to start my day. Keep them coming.
Thanks! It might be a while until I have more to post because this band has a very difficult time finding gigs.
You are obviously too good for the general public in Canton, Ohio!
It always amazes me how people are happy to listen to mediocre music which, I believe, only confirms my belief that many people listen to music but don't actually hear it!
Keep up the great work.
It gets better second time around! Really great sound. Love the way that the Tele and Strar work so well together .
Thanks, Alan! Here's another one with not as good quality. Unfortunately the guy recording it was standing to close to my amps beam, so my guitar is a little too heavy in the mix. In general not as good as the other songs, but not bad.
Don't know about the folks in Canton, but I like it. Really nice work.
You know how it is - pop rules. So three old guys and a youngun playing da blues aren't going to work much in Canton, and it's damn near impossible to get into any clubs up north.
Man, that was really well done! Y'all sounded GREAT!!!
I wish you guys could play at the Sisters, OR Rhythm and Brews Festival out west here! Bit of travel expense there, I guess......
