Drummer buddy of mine is selling this for somebody he knows. I think it has a case. Is it a Plus or Deluxe? I said it’s probably worth $500 but I’m no expert. What do you guys think?

Assuming it all works and there's nothing crazy that isn't shown in the pictures, $500 would be an absolute steal for that. On Reverb those are selling between $1K and $2K.

that's an all original Strat Ultra

The fretboard appears to be ebony

Could be a $2000 guitar easily

    We need @John C

It's a US Strat Ultra from from the plus series 1994 -1998

    Here's the specs

    https://www.fuzzfaced.net/strat-ultra.html

This one looks to be a 1997-1998. They only made them from 1990 to 6/1998. The only ones I could find listed are a 1991 but it would seems somewhere between 1000 -1500 would be a fair price. Up to 2k if it's pristine.

Ok now that I know what it is I asked the drummer whose guitar it is. Seems it belonged to a local keyboard player that recently passed away... and my drummer buddy is helping his sister get rid of his stuff. I’m still passing on it even though he would let me have it relatively cheap.

Isn't this the same as the one that was posted in the last week somewhere on CL for $750? (and was a steal a that price?)

Locking tuners, roller nut, Lace sensors, seems to have all the goodies.

The Guitar Dater and Fender websites both indicate 1997 for that serial number but no further info. I reckon it's worth a lot more that $500.

According to another thread, $250 seems to be about right but it largely depends on how wealthy your friend is. :whistling:
