My preference(s) ? I would've gone Black or White solid. The middle for a redder version of tortoise guard. That other celluloid is too busy for my eyes.

Since presumably you want it to look good to you, then pick any color that looks good to you. Doesn't matter what the color is called by others, or how it's seen by them.
