Fly Me To The Moon and Suicide Is Painless. Played over the chord progression to Still Got The Blues. A simple circle progression. :D

Sounds cool. I swear I could hear a little of "Arthur's Theme" in there, too.

Nice. Remembering the movie MASH and it’s theme song and actually knowing Fly Me To The Moon, dare I say the mashup was relaxing (not in a Muzak way, a complimentary way) I think my blood pressure dropped 10 points.

You can play a thousand songs over that progression. I Will Survive. Santana's Europa. It's a big list. :)

Its why knowing basic chord progressions...especially the major and minor circle...unlocks tons of tunes. The iii/vi/ii/V/I is the ear opener.

yep. in the 50s they did tons of stuff with the I/vi/IV/V/I, which is basically the same as the iii/vi/ii/V/I because you can sub the I with the iii and the IV with the ii.

Unlocking those tunes is so easy when you know the formula. :)

Very well done, and a nice tribute to that song.

Always peeved me that they took that serious song about depression and pain from the movie and turned it into an elevator music theme for the TV show... complete with that little upbeat sitcom musical diddy at the end of the verse.

Thanks. The Mandel composition is outstanding. The tv version doesn't bother me one bit. It's beauty is self evident.
