Guitars are trying to evolve into Fenders.

The Bigsby headstock design predates Fender by a few years... 1947. So the other way around. Fender took the idea of the bigsby inline machine heads and stylized the headstock
Martin released these in 2018. My local shop had one for a while.

It’s a MasterCaster. Eddie Hollick made some banjos like that in the 1970’s. He was the shop foreman of Mossman guitars. I’m not sure if this is one of his? He made some with fiber optic side dots. He inlaid the fiber under the fingerboard and it has a small light inside the banjo pot with a switch so the side dots would light up on stage. Today that would be much easier with LEDs.
Look at the view he had here. It's his Black Guitar though. When it had the Epi tailpiece and CC pickup. Zoom in...you can see where his eyes are trained. And it ain't the guitar.
