    For me self .
    1. Versatility
    2. They just look beautiful, iconic.
    3. They don’t look like a pregnant violin.
    4. Easy to work on and mod.

Each has it's purpose. But hey, I'm the guy that keeps his Les Paul in the closet so what do I know?

    Stratocasters versus Les Pauls.
    Subjective opinions abound.

We might as well list the reasons why blondes are better to date than brunettes.

Or why Camaros rule, and Mustangs blow dead bears.

I own Strats, Teles, and Les Pauls.
And a Firebird, and a Yamaha Revstar.
    And a dozen more.
They are all wonderful tools to achieve specific musical ends.

    ;)

    Here
I’ve narrowed down to my 3 favs. That’s all I have now. If forced to rank them, I’d go-
    1)Strat
    2)LP
    3)Tele

Each is unique and have capabilities the others don’t. At the end of the day though, the Strat neck pick up is the first choice in sound for me.
