you know, not being able to lie at the drop of a hat, that's probably what he was concerned about... by the time we're adults that's the one lesson that should have penetrated...:D:Do_O

Don’t listen to a lot of “new” country but have been playing Midland a lot, this one has a high play count.

You like Anorexia? Do you know she died from that?

She was an amazing musician who could play anything and had perfect pitch.

Add me to the list of people for whom ABBA is a guilty pleasure. My favorite songs by them are Waterloo, SOS, Take a Chance on Me, and Money Money Money. They were masters at songcrafting.

Guilty pleasures with music are for teenagers who are trying to fit in and I've long stopped feeling guilty for anything I listen to. I either like a particular song/artist or I don't. I suspect that many music fans are guilty of closemindedness.

So with that, let's shed a tear for poor Shannon.

I have a disco hits cd in my car player right now. You should see me shouting along to Boogie Wonderland at the top of my lungs.

    Or this.

There's something tragically beautiful about Karen Carpenter.

That song was huge back in the day. If that dude changed his last name, he would have had a vastly different career trajectory.

I have a whole sub-collection in my record collection that is just 80s music. Hey, in the 80s I was in my 20s, living in NYC and frequented the club scene. A hell of a lot of fun was had back then. The music takes me back. To me the 80s was the last fun decade. Music seemed to get dark in the 90s even beyond what punk was in the 70s and 80s.
