It was soooo hard parting with it. It's small, light, lovely, f****ng loud, sweet, brash, aggressive, amazing tremolo. Great "warm" cleans, but it spoils to be opened full with a strat plugged in … I will oblige it as soon as I get it back!!!!

Everyone talks about how great they are with Les Pauls, and they are. But man, it's the best Strat amp I've ever used. Just amazing when it's opened up with a Strat. Put a fuzz in front and it's clean to wooly all day long.

That amp is about as cool as it gets. Hope you enjoy it.

Hell yes it will work but Swing is really more about the groove of the music than the equipment.

Yes, of course. If you don't have the language in your head and hands, forget it. Still for it to sound right, you also need the right tools. Play a 7-string Ibañez through a Big Muff and a Soldano amp, and your Charlie Christian lines won't sound all that good … Or to take a less extreme example: a strat in a blackface is a great sound, can be a valid jazz tone, but it's not my idea of a swing guitar sound.

A Gretsch would sound better with Lollards or TV Jones or stock.
