So we bundled up, braved the snow and went into NYC to see Albert Lee last night. Lordy that guy sure can make a guitar sing! I'm late coming to an appreciation of country, I think it started with seeing a clip of Vince Gill ripping up a tele. At any rate, Albert blew my socks off. Go see him, he's all over the northeast for the next couple of months.

Albert played with Eric Clapton when I saw them in concert at the Capitol Centre in Largo, MD back in the '80s. He really is a good player. Unfortunately I don't see any shows anywhere near here this spring.

Cool, He's a great picker, He always seems like he's enjoying himself when he plays
I'm a big fan of one of his early bands called Heads, Hands and Feet

Fabulous player. Listen to his solo album Hiding with a version of Country Boy on and Setting Me Up and old Dire Straits song. Brilliant stuff.
