It's in a great shape, only a couple of scracthes on the back. Frets near to 100%. I hope I will sell my Ibanez before someone else buys the Deluxe... That would be disappointing since in less than a month I will turn 40 and it would be my birthday present :(

I don't know what the average weight is for an ash body, but I do know that an ash body sounds great! If you don't have one in your arsenal, grab it!

Oh no... I feel the GAS kicking in again. I love the transparent white finish over ash. It’s one of my favourite looks and now I’m really intrigued about the compound radius. I hope you can manage to get this guitar. It’s a beauty.

My Ash Elite is pretty heavy at 8.8 lbs (heavier than one of my Les Pauls). Not sure how light an Ash Strat might possibly be but 7.5 lb is certainly not a heavy specimen.

As you can see, I have a HB in the bridge (SD Hot Rails) on my guitar, works out fine, the 5-way and S1 still provide an interesting variety of tones, of course different than if there was a single in the bridge. As far as looks, I think a single sized HB keeps the spirit of the SSS look. On my guitar, I chose black because the white Hot Rails really clashed with the parchment/cream color of the singles in the middle and neck (and the knobs). IMO the black looks better. Not great but better.

I have a doubt: is this Red Pearl or Red Tortoise pickguard? Thanks
