Im getting a 1989 Am Std body in a few weeks and it has the two post tremolo. Is the the tremolo block a different fitment than the vintage style blocks? I have a line on a two-post bridge for dirt cheap and just need to find a block, but all the ones Im seeing say for "Vintage Style" bridges only. Are the Am Std blocks hard to find? Any help would be appreciated.

Vintage blocks will not fit an AM STD. Callaham should have AM STD blocks. Probably GFS too.

Or a KGC block. I replaced mine in a 2010 American Standard and found a resonant warmth added to the guitar that I never could find. Slightly less edge but it’s a strat, what are you going to do. You want my standard steel block?
