Been eyeballing a 2012 AM standard Strat . Listed as mint . $1200 plus shipping seems high, I’m I wrong?

Mintz with case candy and all? Not unheard of. I'd like to think the Fenders are holding their value. But we do like deals. 800 would be nice.

Waaaaay too high, plenty out there in a reasonable range of 600-800. I paid around $850 for one new during thier last production year.

Seems too high. Keep your eyes out and you'll find one at the right price. My eagle eyed friend just got a 2010 AVRI '57 strat for $750!

you can build one of better quality for less, and have every single little thing like you want it. everything.....neck radius, body and neck wood, fret size.......everything.
of course, dont build one if you plan on selling it. youll lose money.

It seems maybe a little too high, but if you really love the guitar you'll forget about all of that later.

Sometime around then, they went from $999 To $1249 new. Something to think about...only $50 off original retail and no warranty.
