I've mentioned previously here in past threads that we've had a few ghost sightings at my house. In all cases it was the same little girl witnessed by My wife, my daughter and myself.

This time we had a small party for my daughter's birthday and one of her friends slept over. They wanted to sleep downstairs in the family room so they could stay up watching TV.

We got a call later the next day from her mom that her daughter said she woke up in the middle of the night and was frozen with fear because there was a little girl in the foyer watching her. She said she kept shutting her eyes and opening them to see if she was still there and she was always there until eventually she just fell asleep.

She was completely freaked out but we all thought it was amazing that someone else saw what we've seen on more than one occasion. We didn't even give any details just asked her mom to have her describe what she saw which was consistent.

Believe me... i'm as skeptical as they come.

I know what I saw and my wife saw it at the same time. We both mistook her for one of our kids and told her to go to bed. Never told them because they frighten easily and out of nowhere my daughter told us what she saw about two years after we witnessed it which matched what we saw down to every detail.

    I guess I'm the dang 1% LOL

    I didn't choose to be

minus the upside down cross and silly sinister look... this is a pretty close resemblance to her appearance.

My buddy's daughter had a slumber party for 15 girls and they got so worked up about ghosts that he ended up having to drive everyone home at 2 a.m.

wow... that's a lot of slumber party. The getting up to drive everyone home at 2am part probably sucked but I'm sure it made for a more peaceful tomorrow.

The other day my wife and I were wondering where all the animal and bug ghosts are?

We can relate. My mom and dad built our house back in '69 and the bricks were salvaged from a school that had burned in a nearby town. We later found out that an old widowed school teacher was killed in the fire while trying to get her students to safety and my parents, brother and late sister could always tell when she would visit here. The doorbell would ring yet nobody was at the door, the old landline phone would ring with only a dial tone when it was answered, we would hear a woman faintly talking in another room or our old family dog would start whining and jump up out of her chair with ears straight up then start looking in all the rooms of the house.
Prior to my parents passing my wife and I were visiting and she swore she heard woman's voice in another room but we were the only ones there. My parents and I told her what we experienced thru the years and they assured her she was a friendly old spirit that comes by ever so often just to check on us.
We live in the house now as my parents have long since passed and there are still a few occasions we sense her presence. When she comes the door bell still rings with nobody there, our little beagle reacts exactly the same as our old family dog did when she senses something out of kilter and we occasionally hear what sounds to be someone faintly talking in another room when it's all quiet in the house.

I can't explain it but I truly swear my wife and I get a sense of peace that all is well when she visits; no lie.

My wife, who has a very high iq and a retired rn, would have never thought any of this would have happened until she experienced it. It's just a norm for us now.
