Found this old guitar can't find any markings on it anywhere. It's definitely been sitting up a long time. messaging.jpeg received_1275069472885534.jpeg received_3306580619421160.jpeg received_683741479013329.jpeg received_1275069472885534.jpeg

    Hi, @Ashman24

Welcome ! That may be a Teisco budget guitar from 70s or 80s.

    Maybe a Norma?

    More like mid-late 1960s.

    Hi, @Ashman24

If the neck is comfy feeling, having it set up /fixed back to playing ; may be fun.

My understanding is, only if it is all original. If you need to buy parts it will cost more to fix it than what you can sell it for.

I have a IMHO great MIJ Guitar reference book that I use to figure out what’s what in the MIJ 60s guitar world. I use it to cross reference the models, pickups etc...

It looks like the one in the Kawai section of the book. It is very common for the badges to be missing ( as well as the tremolo arm).
However the aforementioned attached link shows its a Kingston with a Badge! Great bit of research there as it can be hard to figure out what’s what in the MIJ 60s world.

The pickups are a treat to research as multiple manufactures etc...
These guitars IMHO are great fun and I am a HUGE fan of the Teisco tulip series of guitars and Gemtones.

Unfortunately most people refer to the enormous amount of 60s import guitars as Teisco when in fact they’re are many manufactures/brands and models.

    Cheers
