Easily one of my favorite guitars:
Very cool looking axe. What is it?

It’s a 1990 Sebring (company defunct as of 1994) Les Paul Special, that I got for $100. I gutted it, put in a Gibson wax-potted Burstbucker type 2 (simply divine), got the top repainted by a local car repair shop (color is Tropical Turquoise - 57 Chevy), popped in a set of Hipshot locking tuners, replaced the bridge with an Epiphone LockTone bridge, replaced the nut with a white Graph Tech Tusq XL one and got a custom pickguard made from a manipulated Gibson Sonex template.
I also had my best local luthier give it a setup.
I put a lot of money into this cheapie, but my goodness does it ever play, feel and sound incredible. In this particular instance, it was money well spent!
Here are a couple of blue builds I did for some folks.
My other blue guitar .
Yamaha RGZ-312 - Alder body/ Rosewood fretboard, 1990
Below, Peavey Dyna-Bass, 3 tone knobs,
passive/ active switch, five strings, 1989
Don't have a blue guitar at the moment but I like 'em a lot. Inspired by a fellow Strat-Talker, I've got a candy turquoise body on order from Warmoth for my next build. My 2nd build had a caribbean blue burst body:
I bought it off a forum member at ReRanch I think it was. I had it for 5-6 years then sold it on to make some room.
It is a 2004 Squier '51, it was originally a sunburst that got some damage, was traded and then it was refinished in Ocean Turquoise. An Ian Rich control plate and a filtertron type pickup were added. I believe the neck was done with Tung oil.
It was a good looking guitar and a nice player, but I just never bonded with so to speak.
I have some that are all blue and some that are partially blue.
Three blue guitars in my stable currently.
faded sonic blue , 2016 Classic Player Baja 60s Tele
You have to YELL @stratman323 at him like that & also make sure to post any articles you happen to see about ticket resellers gouging the public around the kingdom there. Yep, that'll do it.
Nice set of indivdual guitars, just out of curiosity is the "Van Goch - Starry Night" a photoprint?
My Fender Mexican 60s reissue in Lake placid Blue:
My Fender AVRI 62 in limited edition Tropical turquoise:
Oh, I dunno, the shape fits nicely, the P-90s growl, it even sounds ok unplugged...
Very different from my Fenders.
And it’s beautiful!
I didn't want to shout in case he was asleep...
I glued a poster to the the body then clear coated over it.
I was wondering if that was painted or not... looks quite authentic in that pic
