Sweetwater has been running a sale on Levy's leather 2.5 inch for $29.99.
Bought one and after seeing how nice picked up another.
M17BSS-BRN and BLK are the models.
Brown and black is only difference.

Either a BoStrap or if you are looking for really soft and padded and flexible as well as simple, my favorite is Franklin Straps.

    .

Find a Tandy store near you and get some leather, dye, dye stabilizer, and maybe a fun stamp.

Ahh... But there is a difference between "thrifty" and "cheap" ;)
Straps and holsters... I could have saved $1500 if I'd just bought the $200 ones to start with.
