One of my dream guitars is the black Jem with fluorescent green p'ups and tree of life:
Love Ibanez guitars!
My friend gave me a SA quilted maple orange burst. The body is really slim and nicely sculptured and the neck is killer. It's a great guitar and they sold at a very reasonable price..
good on the op-seems he found something he likes....
I guess I missed this thread originally, but I do love some Ibanez guitars! Here are most of the ones I've owned. I still have these three:
These have been sold:
I'm GASing for a jem jr.
Congrats @3bolt79 (and "oh yeah" @space )
I've been playing Ibanez guitars of all sorts now for about 30 years. I've owned many and still own several --> much love for Ibanez!
I sold one yesterday
2009 Ibanez A100E-BK 1201 Acoustic Electric Guitar
It was lovely but not that inspiring to me to play.
This one is one of the best playing and sounding guitars in my collection and inspires me every time I pick it up.
2007 Ibanez Exotic Wood EW20QME NT 1201
This one is a great player too and the curves....
2013 Ibanez ART 100 DX WH
Newer to the stable on the low end pricewise but fluid to play.
2020 Ibanez RG6003FM Flat Sapphire Blue
I have an old 80's RG (440 I think) thats a bit beat up but the overall quality is about as good as it gets.
‘If you do get a Jem Jr, the pickups in the yellow and pink ones (the jem jr SP) are better than in the white junior.
I'm trying hard to get rid of an Ibanez bass for my buddy who is now living off the grid and needs the money.
He only had it for a couple of months, so it's basically new.
Have had no offers yet, still hopeful.
Back in the early 80s I had a cherry sunburst 3 humbucker Destroyer like the one pictured ordered, but they had just discontinued them and I never got it. Had an AR300 at one time, and an EX370. I wouldn't mind having an Iceman. I remember Bob 1 from Devo playing one.
I've had three. The first two are no longer with me.
Back in 2004, I bought a new Ibanez EW20ASE Figured Ash acoustic-electric that looked like this one. Nice player.
Also bought this AS73T semi-hollow in 2004, but I bought it used. Also a nice player, but I was getting more into Strats, so it was nice for a while.
This next one is still with me, and I don't see it going anywhere simply because I like having a semi-hollow for certain songs. This is an AM93, and it is slightly smaller than a standard semi-hollow.
‘I really like that black strat with the tort guard. Also the guitars in your first pic. Very nice. You must have a really big house! I have 10x12 room. I am running out of space! I am down to 21 guitars. I have sold 6 or 7 since the beginning of the year. How are you on amps? I have 3.
I see you are in Indonesia. Are you able to visit any of the factories? I have 9 guitars that are from Indonesia. They are all awesome. Do they sell any made there in country?
1-Guitar Research (tester amp)
1- sf quad (chopped to a twin)
Thanks for the info on that. I had no idea that they had different pickups on those 3 models. I thought they were the same. Good to know!
Nice. Happy new guitars days! My first real "good" guitar was an Ibanez S way back when. I've been very interested in a prestige AZ as of late but can't find one near me to try. Waiting for one to pop up.
Look into the rg721 and 921. They did black, and a bunch of other colors.
The best feeling hardtail bridge you'll ever play.
Here are my RGs
Rg3xxv with dim/ibz and air norton s
Rg921 with breeds
Rg520qs with full shreds.
They are my work horses, especially the last two.
I also have an as73g in light blue that plays as sweet as it looks.
I wanted an Ibanez PIA... it would be my 4th ibanez. I don't know though, $3500 is crazy expensive...
