Austria, Switzerland, Germany, all those kind of countries eat Rottweilers - especially the mountain folk Hundeschinken, is even like a smoked dog ham. I told our hosts that in the States, a Rottweiler is a dog used for protection; they just laughed that it was too fat and docile to protect anything.

A "wet market" usually just means that they have live food Like a farmer's market in the states, where they have live chickens or lobsters
I did not mean to offend anybody. I had a neighbor when I lived in the States, that had a pig in the house. Not a mini-pig or pot belly pig, but a giant 200lb pig It slept on the couch with the owner all day long Sometimes the owner would feed it scrambled eggs and bacon; I always found that funny

Uh no. Ours smell of whatever they have rolled in last,usually something dead or cow manure. They are country dogs,their chew toys are generally whatever they took away from the cats.

Our dog is not usually bad smelling but I wouldn’t say that he is pleasant smelling. He can get farty if you feed him too many treats. He is passed his training so we are cutting them out. The worst is when he swallows human hair and it sticks to his poop so he trails around with it. Seems to happen about once a week, but he is conscious of it and waits outside until we can help him. It’s a latex glove kinda thing.
My dog smells great still. She was just to the groomer a couple of days ago. My dog is kind of like a cat. She is always cleaning her paws.
My Cocker smells nice (to me) for 90% of the time, but my God when he farts....I never smelt anything like it. He could knock a vulture off the back of a dung wagon.
my woof has a real nice coat and smells good for 2 or 3 days after a random bath. the rest of the time he has a real nice coat and smells like a wet and dirty dog.
