I'm thinking the op is related to the guy posting about his 4 month old strings that won't hold their tuning.

Either a structural failure from the start, or more probably wood rot.
I guess Fender won’t vouch for that, but you can find nice replacement bodies at reasonable prices to build up a new Strat with the parts you got left if you’re satisfied with them ?

Just by curiosity, contact Fender and ask them: they might be interested to see for themselves what happened…

Yeah. Offer to show it to Fender. Go ahead. We’ll wait.

That guy is a jerk. I cannot believe he would start a sarcastic screed making fun of the trolls that seem to have infested ST. The nerve of him.

    Oh he is me. :p

Now that's a shoddy repair. The luthier didn't even align the shaft before screwing crookedly into the body. Should have used splines instead of screws.

One in the same me thinks, also probably the author of a few other threads in the last few months that were intended to be controversial.

Yep, 5 days and 6 pages of responses later, there's still no pics. Beginning to think it didn't happen.

Are we talking about the dude with the teeny knot in his headstock? I was the first responder, I think. Maybe he WAS kidding, trying to get a rise, but he really sounded sincere. I didn't even see the knot. I thought he was talking about the lacquer! Is this guy for real? Complaining about that? I should have told him to use 60 grit sandpaper and Lacquer thinner, then boil the headstock in buttermilk and repeat. I thought the little knot was cute! Anyway, TUBE GUYS! Check out this clock! Anyway,
Oh, right, it was the dryrot guy. I told him I found a bullet in mine, lol. Is he Still Posting? Jeez. Oh, I get it. His Brain failed!

I think by page 2 most intelligent people had got to that stage.

I got to about halfway through the description and started to smell the seaside.

I think the OP is the same person who wrote the "Man door hand hook car door" story.

And in high school he had a really hot girlfriend who was a model. She went to another high school in a different town, though, so you wouldn't know her.

Interesting. Melbourne reminded me of somewhat Frenchified cities such as Montreal and New Orleans.

Suppose we all relate new places to those with which we are most familiar.
