I have not played in almost three years now. Yes, I believe the days of playing are over for me. That being said, I am going to start selling off my gear.

Just a short list of items that I have:

Fender NOS 60's Custom Shop Strat
    Gibson R9 Les Paul
Gibson Custom Shop Warren Haynes ES 335
    Collings D2H, Braz/Adri acoustic

    Tone King Sky King Amp
Pedals, just about 2 dozen or so. Analogman, King of tone. Klon, Etc..

I am just getting started, so I am trying to gauge interest in these items. I will sell them at fair market value, so I am not looking to make a killing on them nor am I looking to get take a huge loss.

Anyone interested? If I see there is enough of an interest, I might post a classified ad with pics and prices on this forum. Just pm me or I can always check back here, if I remember. Damn, it sucks to get old.

That’s some really nice gear It’s probably far too precious for my budget, but I have no doubt you will find plenty of takers for it (at a fair market price).

I'm sorry to hear that you have ceased to play guitar. Best of luck with your sale.

    That’s a shame Sevycat!
Good luck with the sales. If you were uk based that Tone King and R9 would be mine already!

Sorry to hear your playing days are over. I hope it is because you somehow managed to master all aspects of guitar playing and found yourself bored as opposed to some more dire reason.

I can't believe you are leaving the guitar for a life of only playing Dubstep, but I wish you well all the same.

Come on now, don't quit altogether. :( Can't you just scale back for less pricey axes? I would like to believe that somehow, someway, you could stick with it. :thumb: That said, there's plenty of room in my closet for an R9, I wish.

Hey, save one guitar to put in the closet. This guitar playing disease tends to recur, even after having been in remission for years. If it comes back, it’s good to have a familiar guitar to hold.

R9 and 335, very interested if the price is right. Looking forward to the classifieds ad.
If you ever get the bug again, relief comes as fast as the nearest guitar shop. Been there a couple times in my life.

Sorry to hear it's come to this, @sevycat. I hope you get a decent price for your gear, but keep at least one guitar for when you get the urge to play. Although I took six months off, I'd hate to wake up in a house with no guitars at all. :(
