Here's a couple simple sound clips. Just noodling around. Not the best recording rig, so you're just getting the guitar run through ProTools and out of the studio monitors.

I think the Tele, with the maple board, looks better than the Strat.

I usually agree when it comes to maple boards on Fenders. But I gotta go with the darker rosewood in this case. But....I wouldn't turn down that Tele :)

Nice!! Is it the FSR run they did a few years back? My friend had one and I always loved it!

It is indeed. There was a gent on here that used to custom-wind pickups that made an A3 set with a 10% overwind for me. Classic Tele tone, and I can still get some bawls out of it easily. Fun guit.

I love paisley on anything so your guitar is a winner.

I love the old pink versions too.

Nice! Make a great guitar even better!! My friend just sold his on Reverb a couple months ago. I may have to keep my eyes open for one to go with the Strat.

Congrats on the new guitar...it is great looking....haven't been to Bizarre Guitar in a while....might have to take a ride down there and check out the guitar and that BRG amp.....

And he played a little "Willie the Wimp" which is a great tune....and factual too....

Thats cool, congrats. I like Alder primarily but a Basswood bodied Strat isn’t a bad a idea. Makes it light, perhaps more resonant, and sounds good to me.

Thanks, rafasounds! I agree with you on alder for my Fenders. Maybe an ash Tele for good measure :), buT I’ll be fine with the basswood Strat. Sounds and plays beautifully.

Thanks, Lankytwang! This is like the only guitar ever that I've been happy with the sound coming out of my ProTools and guitar plugin rig. ANd I'll definitely keep an eye out for a shirt. I did notice it kind of matches my current bedding too...LOL

In that same vein, if you see a loaded Ed O'Brien Strat body only pop up in any of the usual places, shoot me a PM.
