Some beautiful amps shown here. Neither my playing ability nor my available funds justify most of them but someday I will come across one.

VERY cool. Any chance you have a build thread for this amp somewhere on the internet? Would love to build one. Are UK greenback difficult to come by?

I love old amps. I made one from an old hifi amp, recently. Used up some old cloth that was too small for much else.

Still need to put a jack plug, some screws and rubber feet to complete it.

My garage amp is a late 60's early 70's Fender PA 100 that's been beat to hell and has had a couple of fools break the knobs and front panel trying to get the chassis out many years ago. Tolex is torn and front panel trashed but it screams. Output section is the same as a Twin Reverb, input is 4 channels and very different from the Twin, Two inputs have been modified for guitar, one is dead, one original for mike or organ. It sits on top of a new (2000) Marshal 4x12 cabinet. This thing is ugly on the outside but inside was refreshed with caps, resistors, a couple of tubes, 1/2 output cutout switch.

I just can't afford to rock a vintage amp so my plan is to rock a clone or two. I built a 5E3 and I am currently trying to figure out the cheapest way to acquire a 6G16.

Yeah I did one on the Marshall Forum. I didn’t do a proper build log, just made a few pics when I got to a stopping point. Actually, both Greenback models are made in the UK again. The Classic series is the one I got. From what I gathered the Classic sounds as good as the Heritage for a lot less money. I’ve been kicking around the idea of replacing one speaker with a G12H.

Blackface Super Reverb, Band-Master, Bassman, and Pro Reverb. Pretty sure they are all 1966. The Super looks brand new. The Band-Master looks like it's maybe 2 years old.

Not truly "vintage," but my main living room amp is an 80s Seymour Duncan Convertible 2000 100 watt head that I bought new in the 80s. Goes into a 4x12 cabinet. Sounds great at really low volume!

1967 Deluxe Reverb w/AB763. Finally got around to replacing the Peavey Scorpion (got used in '93) to a GA-SC64 12" Alessandro Speaker. Fender Amp Full Front.jpeg Fender Amp rear 2.jpeg

I have a '76 SFDR and a '66 pro reverb. The only reason I don't gig them anymore, when there WERE gigs, is I have a Suhr Bella. But the DR was my main gig amp for 20 years, I've had the pro for 30 and it has a bunch of gigs on it.
I've recapped them both, neither has the original speakers in them.

The DR is my main gigging/jam amp these days. Hope to get out again soon!
