That's a guitar I have always wanted.
I haven't played every Stratocasters but I ve played enough to know this is a good one!
I have the right to remain silent.
I just thought I'd say that...
This is it. The Strat on the right is what I play now. It just sounds incredible. I play through either the Princeton Reverb (in the garage) or the Vox ac10 in the house. The other guitars are sitting in the closet. I was, however, looking at another Gibson SG over the weekend... And strangely, after nearly 20 years, I feel the possible need for an acoustic...
Ok. I don’t want to corrupt or enable, but you need an acoustic.
I have a vox ac15. Love it. I feel Vox flies under the radar these days. Guitar center had a used ac4 for like $200. Almost bought just because I love small amps and it was such a good deal.
I'm a serial monogamist.
Right now I'm trying to narrow it down to a medium sized harem.
One Blues Jr. Simple pedalboard with only the basics.
4 Electrics each used for certain songs.
4 Acoustics incl 1 12S
I’m monogamous on each song.
Got the perfect thing for you
I want a Vox ac15, but I've bought enough pedals in the last month to purchase one. Waste, waste...
But, yeah, I'm either looking at the '61 SG or an acoustic, since we cancelled our vacation this year.
If I had to...I have all I need in my Black Strat and 5e3.
Luckily I don't have to. But I wouldn't sell my Black Strat for a million dollars. It's part of me. Has been since 1983. The other stuff could be gone tomorrow and it wouldn't matter.
If you are looking at SGs I STRONGLY recommend the new Iommi SG special. They are selling out fast but the p90s in it growl like nothing I’ve heard. I got one to try out with no plans to keep. I hit a C chord when I plugged it in to my vibro champ and I knew instantly I was in trouble and had to keep it. It has a thick neck. Thicker than most other sg specials so I wanted to give it a test run.
Nope. Six guitars, five amps
I like the HT20 enough to have two
No, definitely not. I play around as much as I can. Preferably, with different strings and lots of toys too.
YES, this was about guitars!
I’ve probably bought, sold, or traded 15-20 different guitars and 10 amps over the past 12 months. All of my current (5) guitars and (3) of my (4) amps were new to me this year.
Technically I'm not monogamous as I do own more than one amp and more than one guitar but I am sort of monogamous in that there is one amp and one guitar that are my main rig and they get about 99% of my (electric) playing time. I also have two acoustics but that split is more like 80/20.
3 guitars so far and a total of 5 planned
over 100 amps
over 150 effects/pedals
Nah, I'm as polygamous as all hell.
I can't imagine much guitar monogamy here. This forum promotes temptation.
