I would start a new thread and ask the same question in the "non fender s type guitar forum"

Would it be okay to install some seymour duncan single coils of the Aria Fullertone fl-10s? Do I need to change the eletronics also?

You only have to change electronics if:

    1. You are changing from active to passive pickups (or the other way 'round).
    2. You don't like the taper of the volume or tone pots.
    3. There is something wrong with the switch, pots, and/or jack.

Nice, what set would you recommend? It is a Fl-10s , so 3 single coils. I dig SRV, Hendrix, Clapton tone...

That is actually a pretty interesting guitar. For SRV or modern Clapton, you'd need something a little hotter...the Antiquity Texas Hots will work. If you boost your pickups with something like booster or overdrive pedal, a set of SSL-1s will be all you need.
