^ That '82 is in surprisingly good condition.
Lovely, can we have some more pics of the 82? and whats the one on the left?
I'm in with my '01 '57.
Pro and blues jr? Which one you like better? Nice '57!!!!
5e3 deluxe and a 5f1 champ built by me. Love them both. But my favorite amp is my Super Reverb.
Just bought a beautiful AVRI.
OK... It's a Tele, not a Strat... But still a Fender AVRI
A couple more pix of my new AVRI Telecaster. One with her brother, my FSR Strat.
What does it take to join the club? I do have some AVRI Strats. Will that get me in the door?
Talk to you later,
Norm post some pics of them, thats it!!!
Here is a 62 RI. As I recall it is a 1999. It belong to Matt from the Coconauts. Surf fans may know them.
Here is an 1983 AVRI 57. The prior owner boasted that it had a nitro finish. He had stripped the original Lake Placid blue and shot it with clear lacquer. He had lost the original case and had swapped out the bridge pickup. I was fortunate enough to find a bridge pickup from 83 and another 83 case for it. I still have not gotten around to having it refinished back in its original Lake Placid blue.
Here is an 1986 AVRI 57. The prior owner (different guy from above) also stripped the original finish from this one. It was originally surf green. Otherwise stock. I have not gotten around to having this one refinished back to its original color.
He is a somewhat scarce one. It was made at the (then) new Corona plant in 1985. Plant opened in October 1985 and had a small production crew. Not many guitars made in the US by Fender during 1985. This one is stock with the original surf green finish.
