I sold a '54 Telecaster fitted with a '66 Strat neck for £400 about 20 years ago. Yup... I was that desperate!

The only guitar I really wish I could get back was my 1989 Washburn WP-80 Les Paul. "Lawsuit Model" I'd pay real money to get it back.

If I was hm, I could have afforded to keep all those now gone guitars.

Not my picture, but it is my old guitar. Custom shop. I was such an idiot for selling this one.
Edited to ad another. Ishibashi never officially offered a Surf Green lefty strat, but I received one when I ordered Sonic Blue. Never seen one of these again. It should have been a keeper, but there was so many rare lefties popping up for good prices back then that my stable was constantly changing.

A 1972 Tele Custom, black on black maple. Paid $300 for it, traded it for a Dan Armstrong Lucite guitar. Made sense at the time...for about two weeks. Thankfully, I traded it to a close friend some forty or so years ago...he still has it. He recently did a refret and took the finish off and added a fret. He is the best player I've ever known...I'm glad he still has it.
