Is it my imagination? Are those lefties strung right handed?
The tele has a mint p/g now. I forgot how bright the white looks
Just ordered a Burst Tele. This online shopping thing, I hope they send me a beautiful one. I mean I hope it sounds great first & foremost obviously, but after that it's gotta be visually stunning too. For the pickguard, I think a white, mint green, tortoise shell or one of the sparkly Pearloids for a burst works equally well.
I have two sunburst guitars.
My '89 US Standard I bought new and still have and my '04 Les Paul Standard +.
I remember purposely going out to get a sunburst Strat because I’d never had one and I thought it was the quintessential Stratocaster look. I ended up coming home with a black one. That happened twice and then finally I found one I liked. Then I found another so I had two sunburst Strats. Then I realized my acoustic was a burst, my bass was a burst and my two semi hollow body guitars were bursts. I have no idea how I became so drawn to them but obviously I am.
My 3tsb 'tribute' to Blackmore's rare one piece neck and 4 bolt '71 ... the 'Machine Head' strat.
I run hot and cold on most 3TSB guitars but I love a 2TSB. My Gibson looks great but I still don't play it lol. Just doesn't float my boat as a player.
guilty as charged
I’m bursting to share mine
Bursts are busting out all over.
Call me "old school" but when done well burst finishes can look very classy.
A sunburst Strat is missing from my collection (I really like the '50s style two-tone with maple fretboard), so here's my Les Paul Standard '50s:
Ok I wll play:
Wow, that tele is on fire!
