DR Sunbeams, never tried those: What gauge do you use, 12s?
Some real nice guitars here --- mine is a 2k MIM with PV65 pickups and a tele switch tip
I own two bursts, an R8 and one strat. I'm not a big fan of factory relics, but this was an offer too good to resist and it's really grown on me.
My '16 LP Trad
And also '16 2 TSB Tele
Until mine arrives, this stock image will have to suffice.
Here’s «Dave». Two-tone sunburst. Nitro.
2016 Strat Elite Cherry Burst, 2017 LP Standard HP Bourbon Burst, 2020 Ibanez SR1605B.
Love that shirt.
A gift from the daft old bat (mother in law) about 20 years ago.
The figure in the wood of the Violin Burst is awesome.
A 20 year old shirt! I think I have one almost that old but it looks more like this
I tended only to wear for gigs and I had plenty of others to rotate it with. These days I prefer my sweatshirt...
Me too, thanks! That top was sourced from Tempered Tonewoods out in California. Roasted flame maple.
What a great bunch of bursts on this thread! I never used to like them up until recently and it’s like someone flipped a switch! I found this Reverend last week and is the last humbucker faded burst that I think they made a few years ago as it’s not been in their website selection for awhile. It’s like someone found it hiding somewhere in the back of the store or something but I grabbed it fast as I could not find another anywhere!
Pulled the trigger and this literally came last of the FedEx delivery hours yesterday! I haven’t had time to take pics yet but here’s a few from the store! It sounds so freakin good Very happy!
My RCS. In the right light it is gorgeous. Plays as easy and as comfortable as my '08 American Standard. But that's where the similarity ends. The RC pickups make this guitar sound incredible... Into my PR or the Vox... Divine! Happy!
Mine are of the hand blended/rubbed variety. Only the darkest brown around the perimeter is off the gun.
Here are mine. Gibson, Fender and Yamaha.
Love the burst.
