Which has left me, with nothing to mix. Dang. It's fun even if I am not good at it.
I was going through an old hard disk I archive stuff to and found some 20 track sessions I recorded when the band was rehearsing for a gig. I had never done anything with it to date - I ended up mixing down a few songs, including a rare swing version of Mr. Crowley from Ozzy - 100% improv. The problem we always had at rehearsals, is that we all enjoy each other's company so much, so we routinely diverged into dialog and shenanigans, lucky to actually get 40 minutes of music out of a 2 hour session.
That's awesome on a lot of levels.
