It is kind of overkill for my condo but I can get any tone I want at low volume. But they really do shine when you can open them up

What’s the market value of a 16-month-old ID260 TVP? It sells for 475€ brand-new now.

20180620_201442.jpg Here are my Club 40s in an ABY setup. One MK1 I've had a couple years and a new MK 2. Yup, sounds really nice. And there a HT20 Studio in the living room

Proud owner of the little one, the Blackstar HT-1RH head with a Blackstar HT-112 cabinet. Both are in matching "Bronco Tan" and I absolutely love the setup. Perfect amount of volume for the home....cranked, you can hear it from outside (playing in the basement), but easy to get saturated tones from the preamp at almost any volume. I want a Marshall one day, but I will always be a Blackstar fan!

HT5R owner for 6 months. Tried it against Bassbreaker 7, AC10 and a Marshall 5 watter. It won but still need to find the right tone. It's a great package. Guitars 968.jpg

I don't know if there is a blackstar club. But there is a "Blackstar official forum that I posted to yesterday as a new owner, had 25 views but nobody said hello (sad face). I am the proud new owner of a ht5r combo that I have bought for 100 euros. But I knew when I bought it there was a problem with the reverb. Sometimes it works but it mostly just hisses at me. I have come here looking for a fix. If possible I would like to have a dependable reverb. I have just moved up from the ht1r combo which is a bit too quiet clean. I hope I am not hijacking your post. Any advice on where I should post this welcomed,(apart from where the sun don't shine)

Blackstar official forum isn’t helpful. Try contacting BS’s customer care directly. You’ll get answered within one or two days max. They’re helpful unlike the forums. About the reverb, I really can’t help you. I hope you get it sorted out soon. HNAD :)

FWIW, I owned an HT20 head (MKI) for a couple years. TBH, I was always searching for a setting that I really liked and never quite found it. The amp had a 'cocked wah' vibe that just didn't work for me. That said, I've watched youtube reviews on the MKII amps and they appear to have a more neutral tone stack and they look like very nice amps.

I'm waiting for the Studio 20 MKll to hit the store here. I really like what they did with the Club 40 so I'm pretty sure I'll like the 20. Hopefully trading my old one and a couple pedals in will help get the price a bit more comfortable. The Eminence Private Jack I have in it now will come out and the Rocket 50 will go back in

I've had this guy for just about an hour, and out of the amps I have, it's easily my favorite.

Arg! My relatively new Blackstar HT20mk2 is making noisy noises! Hard to describe, I'll have to tape it somehow.

On top of that my pedal board is noisy. Funny, when I rigged it all up for a long time, no noise. I've stripped it down to two delays (I like having long and short on tap) and still noise. My next move is a far better power source.

At band levels, you don't hear anything, but between songs and quiet passages, yea. I play really quietly at home, and here they stand out. This was all worked out! :(

Well tube amps being tube amps, the usual culprits are tubes. Are they seated nice and snug ? From there I'd suggest swapping them out. I haven't looked, how many preamp tubes are there ? If it's two, try moving them around. Have you tried the tap test on the power tubes ?

Has anyone tried the new silverline series? Thinking of buying one since I like how they sound online. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any in person to really try it out
