Found this guitar for 400 $. It has a Maple fretboard. Sunburst body. Is it worth buying?
Go for it, Levinson Blades are top end great quality and up there with a good G&L, which model is it, does it have the active system? The early ones were made in Japan and set up in Switzerland, these day's they are made in Korea but still set in up Sz they really are great guitars. A lot of UK session men use the RH4 model as they can produce just about any sound they need.
Here's my Tele
Check the web site to find out what model it is. If it's a Swiss one, the price is great. If it's a Korean one, not so good.
It has an active system. It's Texas pro model according to the web link you shared
A Texas Pro new in the UK is £700 ($890) so $400 is a good price if it's in nice condition.
I had a MIM standard strat, i sold it two weeks ago. May Blade be better than Fender mexico strat?
We have the same taste, I also have a MIM Strat and the Levinson will IMO be the better quality instrument, the pickups are astounding and the finish second to none, Blades quality control is excellent.
If that one is even 3/4 as good as the 2 I own then for $400 I wouldn’t think twice about buying it.
Incidentally the red Blade is my No.1. Bought it new nearly 27 years ago.
