I have put every single pedal other than the Hudson Broadcast and my tuner back in their boxes and into a bigger box, in my cupboard.

Yes. All of them.

I'm not going bonkers, I literally ran out of space.

Plus, a change is as good as a holiday.

I'm still waiting on my microcosm - only been geez... several months now. their delivery date keeps slipping.

Can't say I'm happy about that.

I moved so ended up boxing my pedals up. Setting up in the new space I didn’t have my box of pedals. My amp as vibrato, I have a reverb tank and a mojo mojo. That’s all I’ve used for the last year or so.

Sold all the pedals off over the year. You’d be surprised what a amp and guitar can do with very little effects.

It's the synths taking up the space. I don't mind, but until we've relocated and I have my dedicated studio space back, I'm confined to this 12x12x8 space to cram everything in. and yes, it is a tight space.

Not looking forward to that. I'll likely be moving in December or January so I'll be packing up all 20+ pedals of mine. Pretty sure I have all of the boxes still. Somewhere.

TBH, I'll likely not box any of them up, and just leave them loose and easily accessible along with at least 1 guitar and amp so I can set them up first thing when I get there! Lol

Maybe that’s a good idea! Mine went into a box, packed away and stacked with other boxes. We moved and the jam space wasn’t ready at the time.

The pedals never got unboxed for a long time but I realized in that time I really did miss or really need any of them. So yeah keep them handy.

Considering how addicted I am to playing, I suspect that's what I'll do. As I posted before, I can't go more than 12 hours without picking up and playing at least 2 or 3 times lol.

Keep that on the down low Darth... ;)

Only keyboards used before 1973 allowed to talk about they are.... :p

But as a keyboard nerd, what synths are they?

Pc3x, pc3k8, prophet-10, matriarch, 2600, system 500 and some eurorack modules.
there are some in cases, and others in interstate storage near my parents and sister. old stuff, ensoniq, juno, dx7 dx11 doubtful if they are functional after being there so long. They may be sold or join us post-relocation, it depends on if they still work and if they are worth the moving costs.

I have 5 pedals on my board and a wah on the floor. They all live at the band room with my Bassman amp.

At home I use my Mustang I amp, and it has all the fx I need built in.

I created a patch that is a plexi, biased really hot, a 4x12 with Vintage 30's or greenbacks, I don't remember. I run it with some hall reverb, and just a touch of flange in the fx loop. It sounds pretty good for low volume practice, and it's a nice little package that takes up very little space.

Man oh man.. I can relate to this thread.

I love pedals.. I really do, though I never have all that many(ten currently) on the board at any time I have several totes in storage here stuffed with the dang things.

Now that I can play as loud as I want whenever I want, I have found that my needs for OD/dist pedals are changing and am thinking to pull maybe two or three since I can get 95% of the way there with just one or two maybe. Playing cranked is such a different animal, maybe I need to put together a second board or something.

I'm the same way! I love my pedal board and it has become integral to my style. It's it needed? Not really. I just like my sound with it more than without it.
I keep a few more than 10 on my board.

A few to swap out a needed.

I used to have about 50 extra on hand but as I came into my own sound I sold off most and gave some of my extra pedals that I didn't use enough away.
