I'm pretty stoked, I just ordered a Blues Jr. with the western tolex and the Cannabis Rex speaker. Been wanting another amp and flip flopped on a couple of different ones. Can't wait

It came this morning and I love it. It looks like the Roland BC is getting put away for a while.

good onya - a few of the more opinionated types on here will tell you it's rubbish, but what they think is of course irrelevant . Someone on here that has one suggested to me that instead of keeping the master down and the gain up, do it the other way - whack the master to 12, and use the gain to shape the sound, as it pushes the poweramp harder - it does make a difference, one i prefer. Try it!!

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Really versatile amps with Fenderish cleans and Marshallish breakup.

That maxed out master volume and minimal gain is definitely how you can maximum clean headroom out of that amp.

One thing is for sure, the speaker plays a huge role in getting tones out of the Blues Jr; I once hooked up the speaker output to a load box and then a Two Notes Torpedo CAB cab simulator, and I got an amazing clean tone that way directly into my DAW.

mine is a new one, with the Celestion speaker - and as i bought it in 'rona time, i've not played it with the band yet, so i'm leaving it stock. As an inveterate meddler, i'm tempted to change the speaker out at some point, in case it's not loud enough as stock - might lob something from Eminence in, just for fun. If I don't like it ,i'll build a 2x12 cab .

I've used Blues Juniors live in a full band, albeit in smaller bars and they are plenty loud with the stock speakers. I'd get one again just for kicks, but I have so many amps and thus plenty of redundancy lying around. It's almost criminal.

I discovered the same thing, diming master and using the gain for...gain gets the most out of this amp for me.
The FAT channel gives a tasty boost to humbuckers - be prepared. Think Mississippi Queen or We Won’t Get Fooled Again.
I’ve seen lots of criticism here and over at TDPRI but I like it and that’s all that matters to me. It replaced my 60W ProSonic: I enjoy this amp more.
