Real estate was he big arguing point in my divorce. We owned a house and some investment property. She wanted for me to by the house from her at a price substantially above market, and sell her the investment property at a lower than market price. What I did was to decide upon a price that i would either buy the properly for or sell the property for, with her having the choice as to buy or sell at that price point. This saved a lot of money in appraiser and attorney fees, and helped to move things along.
