Owned 3. Still have one, inherited and kept only for sentimental reasons. So actually I really have owned more than one and acutely aware of evaporation of funds.... whether it's paying for a new 3 stage impeller housing for the hamilton or fixing a through-hole, to sh***y little outboard issues... or 10K hull refins. I've been there more than I care to and thousands don't even scratch the surface. Cars and guitars are piecemeal consumerism by comparison. Even a new LP is cheaper than a haul out and bottom paint.
Hang tight. I'm soon to be on the hunt. I made a list of several recent lower price models. I have 2 LGs I didn't pay much for over 2 years ago. One a flipper, the other a dumb/smart one. I'll get back with you here at Bo's joint.
And Verizon has not made it any easier with their forced decommission policy. I just think they ran out of room in the wiring closet so they are throwing out all the old junk to make room for services I can't afford. And btw - that phone that works this year will not work next year.
I've been with them for 20 year's. Do you want a flipper or want of them dump pocket computers. One of the flippers I saw was a rugged one for $10 a month. Doesn't hurt so much over the course of 2 years. You can also pay the balance off any time.
Actually I am trying to downgrade. Maybe I can swap even and get rid of my iPhone 10. I may have to swap out the wife attached to it.
Indeed it is. Even their "2nd day" isn't. The only thing that's going through in a reasonable time is First Class. "2nd day" shipment on guitar to get here from Chicago. OK, he shipped it on Nov 10, so of course it wasn't going to move on the 11th. It sat in limbo with no tracking for over 2 weeks "USPS awaiting item"... he did not ship this from a PO box store, he shipped it at the post office. He raised a stink, clerk said that she "thinks she remembers it". Supervisor finally leveled with him and told him that everything was a Charlie Foxtrot. A couple of days later, it reappeared in tracking. So he had paid for 2nd day air. What did they do? They put it on a truck
Is there such a thing as jumping the shark for a YT channel? Ya... I think DR has been there for a couple of years. Still entertaining, but really hasn't been informative for quite a while now.
