Bought a Yo-Yo

Was at Walmart getting supplies for Collin being home and musicians in the place. Already dug out the Hot Wheels stuff so we can zip Hot Wheels around in between recording. So was in the Hot Wheels area getting a couple of things and there were regular old Duncan Yo-Yos. I bought myself one. it's pretty and blue, plain old imperial.

Why is this of any interest??? Well, because I have not bought a yo-yo in say 10 years, and because I already own about thirty yo-yos including some very nice ones. So, it was strange that I bought a yo-yo. Now if you will excuse me, I am opening the package and getting my new yo-you out.

My son went through a yo-yo phase. It can be pretty fun, but I know only a couple of basic tricks and binds.

I had a Duncan Imperial, early '70s. Mine was black, made out of wood. Great yoyo.

Always wanted a Duncan Butterfly though - that was the best. I remember guys who could do all kinds of tricks with those things.
