Hows the Maxon compared to the TS9?
That’s all folks.
I’m using the Maxon OD-9 pro plus, which is a bit more optioned than the regular Maxon OD9. I love it! It’s got a different op amp than most TS circuits (GASP!! “No JRC4558 chip!!!???” Blasphemy, right!?) which clips a bit differently (a little sharper), so right off the bat it’s like a more focused and dynamic Tube screamer sound that is fat but also has great harmonic definition and doesn’t sound nasal like most TS’s. It also has a Boost switch on the front that adds 10 decibels of midrange, so you can have the tubescreamer standard sound and then some if you want. It’s also built with a charge pump and an internal switch to run it at either 9 or 18 volts. I think the 18 volt setting is golden— Plenty of headroom and even more response and attack from your playing!

I had someone offer to trade me one of those. It sounded great!
Actually working on a couple of projects, one is a DIY pedalboard. My 'must' requirement is hardwood with figuring, or nice grain with no paint, or dark stain!

EDIT: and following @Believer7713 's post, I have sudden feelings of inadequacy.
Why don’t you list the ones you don’t have, then the list would be a lot shorter.
These are only the ones that made the cut. LOL I am a gear head for sure but I alos have 21 guitars and 4 amps too...Though two of the amps probably wouldn't count in most peoples eyes.
I got a bunch of pedals and I only know how to use the tuner.
Lee Jackson Fuzzy Finger fuzz
Xotic AC/RC Oz Noy Signature
Menatone The King
JHS Lucky Cat
Source Audio True Spring
Nothing to brag about here, these are my pedals with old school spring reverb and vibrato are built in the amps.
But this pedal I can brag a little, it’s the Holy Grail of FUZZ from the 60’s. The first version of the famous Univox Super-Fuzz, I dare you to find one cleaner than this one and all original. I’ve searched for over 15 years and only seen one other that was close to being this nice. Still has the plastic protective film over the logo, original rubber feet, no cracks, and not a spec of rust like all the others you see oh and no leaky battery stains. I used this back in the 60’s in a rock band.
I only have one pedal to brag about, kind of...it's a mid 80's Japanese Boss SD-1, from about 85 I guess. It doesn't sound like an SD-1, though. I think it's sounds worse than a current production one. Maybe because once I gave it to a tech to do some repair, and the guy probably stole some components. But I use it anyway, sounds good enough.
I have 4 amps too lol.
But I also have 4 guitars. So it's balanced. And I justify this by telling myself some day people will come over and want to play them with me hahaha although most people probably don't know I even play the guitar. As long as I have been playing and I have never gigged or played in a band. I just enjoy the challenge of it.
Actually, I forgot that I have 5 amps. I forgot about the bass amp.
Here are the first 3
And the 1 that most wouldn't consider real.
Then my travel amp.

Modified DS-1, Maxon VOP-9, BBE green screamer, Catalinbread buffer pedal [named after a chili pepper?], Mad Professor One, chinese OCD clone, Fender analog delay, mini wah, MXR Gunslinger, Digitech RP-360. Yeah now that I see them all in print, I think I have a problem.
Do you mean the Super Chili Picasso? If so, it's a great boost pedal. I had one for a couple years but swapped it for my Big Daddy Amp Blaster.

There's absolutely no pedal that beats or sounds better than my Boss R2-D2.
