In my experience the Maxon pedal sounds great but its switch really sucks. I wound up selling the Maxon and buying an Analogman-modified Boss SD-1 that sounds just as good (if not better) with a good foot switch.

That’s so weird!! Mine has a sucky foot switch as well!! When I step on it it feels a bit spongy and sometimes doesn’t engage or the led clicks on real quick but no effect. Gotta give it a real solid stomp directly on the center to get it to engage the OD and stay engaged. No issues switching it off tho..

It’s funny—I bought mine for a great price, used “as is”, so I assumed it was just a dusty connection on a used pedal.. now I’m wondering if this is an issue the Maxon pedal has?

I’ve been considering a fix or a whole new OD-9 PRo Plus, just because I really REAALY love the sound and feel of this pedal.

Yes! Once I told the buyer, I got $3,000 for both of them. Thank you Mark Knopfler!

    Help?

The dilemna is two ways, 1) exotic wood without paying an arm and a leg, and obviously not painted black, and 2) Double decker like a bus with the top layer offset to toward the back OR two rows on one board?

It's gotta look like nice wood figuring, and no compromise there. Most pedalboards still have room for wood grain to be evident!
    :)

I want to build this one in June, and post photos! Ideas???

Currently on the board (it evolves as they all do)

    Signal path:

    MESA stowaway
    BOSS Tu-2
    FOXROX Octron3
    Fulltone MDV II
    Analogman Chours
    Whirlwind Orange Box Phaser
    Teese RMC 10
    Ibanez TS-9
    Fulltone OCD v2
    Analogman ARDX Delay

I have a real sweetsound ultravibe (built by the master himself) I removed because it's so bloody HUGE. Nothing sounds as glorious, though. I'm scared to death something will happen to it.

    B board setup:

Teese RMC-3/ or RMC picture wah, it rotates
    Electro Harmonix Micro-Synth
    FOXROX Aquavibe
    Analogman Sun Face
    Strymon Brigadier
