    I've seen him live. One of the best concerts I've ever seen, and I've seen everything from Tosca to Michael Jackson, to Robert Cray, to Steve Vai. If you get a chance to see him live do it.

    Saw him open for the Stones in ‘94 at the Rose Bowl. Saw him again in 2019 in the park at the Escondido Arts Center <- was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. He took us on a 20-30 minute psychedelic-blues medley trip through a series of jokes that used blues lyrics as punchlines. It was brilliant, hilarious, tight. BG is a national treasure.
