Admin Post So we all have a hundred crappy sorties about things going on right now, that's the low hanging fruit. I want to hear some good stories about how businesses are at least trying to make an effort for their workers right now. My older brother works at Cracker Barrel in Oklahoma City and has done for many years. They're paying the laid off staff 60% of their regular weekly wages, giving them 1 free meal a day and doing their best to get everyone at least a few hours each week. He needs that and I appreciate it. My son is a body man for a mega car dealership here in Indiana. Car dealerships are NOT known for caring about employees and especially the maintenance/body staff. He was told he'll be getting $650 a week no matter what happens going forward. Not a ton of money of course but it's better than zero. I read that Starbucks is drive through only at this point but for the next 5 weeks they're bumping up everyone's pay by $3 an hour. These are all good stories in my book.
