Picked Up a new player buttercream player Strat from Guitar Center, Asheville couple days ago.

Everything great so far, I ordered an aged white kit for it but I’m starting to think it looks great the way that it is maybe wanna leave it bone stock I’ve never really done that with a strat. Thanks View attachment 629955 View attachment 629956
The Asheville store worth visiting? I’m gonna be down that way this weekend.

Lol that’s just an extra pair.

They actually had a Ferrari yellow player strat last November but somebody bought it it’s a little more 80s and dramatic yellow than buttercream
Some of the FSR colours really pop. I've got a 2019 Electron Green. I know people rag on MiM guitars but honestly I can't say enough good things about it or any other MiMs I've had. There are bad US guitars too. It isn't reasonable to judge an entire factory's output forever on the basis of occasional very good or very bad instruments (that the dealer shouldn't have passed even if factory QC did slip)

I picked this up used last December, it needed a lot of work the guy who had owned it I guess he as trying out a few weird ideas that didn't really work(he was trying to turn it into a slide as far as I can tell, the bridge was all FU and he had the action way way up, think 60's Silvertone!) I have since done most of the work to reverse all the damage, added F locking tuners, changed the pickguard over to mint and added parchment knobs but left the PU cvrs white. Its currently getting some fretwork done by friendly luthier and should be back home by next Fri.

I have liked that color with the maple since they first came out. Congrats.

I would have gotten the same if I hadn’t run into a great deal on this one new.

A couple months back I added the aged white knobs and covers to my 97 vintage white Tex Mex. It operates at entirely new level now 😆

Congrats on your new guitar 👍
