True. But my husband -- who trained as a pâtissier but had to give it up because he developed an allergy to industrial flour -- says the pastries/cakes in the UK are "not beautiful, but they taste good".... which is fairly high praise from a Frenchman!
I'm more a donut guy.
and you can still taste it?
Only when I close my eyes.
Yep, never had use by, sell by, best before, this will kill you after xxxxxx when I was a kid, yet my Mum ensured I never got poisoned. Just like wiping every surface including a kid’s hands every five minutes with anti-bacterial wipes. The generation that’s five years now will mostly have no resistance to anything.
You're a better man than I.
Are you out of hospital now?
Well... Yeah, after a pretty bad misunderstanding. Because of the smell I was sent straight to the basement. Spent a night in the fridge...
Three good things came out of Sweden.. Agnetha Fältskog, Volvo's.. and @Cerb ..
This one is going fast!
Yum! I didn't get any last year...
I smell it if it smells and taste alright I eat it. I'm 60 years old and have never been food poison yet my cousin works at little Debby's and he is always giving me out of date pies and things, just 10 seconds in the microwave and they are as good as ever.
