Hey y'all! I have some pictures of some pickups and wiring setup I've been given and was wondering if y'all could identify them. (I installed them on a pickguard because they kept sticking to each other lol)

The middle pickup has "50-5" stamped on it, if that helps.

Here's a picture of the rest, there is a volume and tone pot (both 500k) and a 5 way switch with "Patent" on the side.\

So when I got these given to me, he said he didn't know what they were but he thinks these are Fender pickups. I don't believe that very much because of the pickup design and the switch. What do y'all think?

they are in no way shape or form Fender pickups, they are cheap ceramic asian pickups/pots/switch from something in the 80s or 90s, some other cheap brand of guitar....possibly Korean made....

Well first of all they are ceramic magnets, so not Fender USA. May be Fender Mexico, but the wiring looks kinda cheap to me- maybe from a Squier or other Asian brand?

That's what I was thinking about the magnets, I knew that's not USA. I'm not sure, I want to try them though.

Yes you should definitely try them! Many players prefer the usually fatter sound from ceramic magnets, so why not just see how they sound?

Sounds like a plan! I'll try it on my Squier mini since I only need 2 pots for it.
